What should I do if my garage door is squeaky?

This is caused by normal use and does not necessarily indicate a problem. We lubricate our garage doors upon installation and with every service call. Lubricating your doors every three months by using a spray-on lubricant, such as a light machine oil, can help extend the life of your garage doors. Never use grease or dry lubricant.

Can I repair or adjust springs or a cable myself?

No. HIGH SPRING TENSION CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH. Contact a professional garage door dealer/installer. Do not attempt to remove, repair, or adjust springs or cable. DO NOT CUT THE CABLES!
